Manchester United midfielder Di Maria joins PSG
Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have confirmed the transfer of Angel Di Maria.
The Argentina international joins the Ligue 1 side on a long-term deal, which will keep him at the French outfit until June 2019.
Both clubs have agreed a fee of £44million which means that Di Maria's switch has become the most expensive transfer of the summer.
Di Maria joined from Real Madrid last summer and made 32 appearances for the Premier League side, scoring four goals and having 12 assists.
The winger was mostly left on the bench at Manchester United during the end of last season and couldn't fulfill the supporters expectations.
The Argentinian winger said: "I am very proud, and can't wait to wear the colours of Paris Saint-Germain. I want to win every competition we enter, both in France and in Europe. I want to win the Champions League."
