Edin Dzeko agrees terms with Roma

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has agreed personal terms with Roma ahead of a move to Italy.

The Serie A club are now discussing a fee with the English side, who are ready to cash in on the 29-year-old this summer.

Roma have been chasing the former Wolfsburg star since May and they are now close to securing their man.

According to reports in Italy, the Bosnia and Herzegovina international has agreed terms with Roma after meeting the club's hierarchy earlier this week.

A transfer fee remains the sticking point though with City holding out for around £21m.

Roma, on the other hand, are hoping to conclude a deal which would involve them shelling out nearer £15m.
